Save the Date! 5th Annual Tour de Broward – Sunday, February 23, 2014
at Miramar Regional Park
Thank you for your support of the 4th Annual Invicta Tour de Broward Event, presented by zMotion! With your assistance, so far we have raised more than $340,000 and the donations continue to come in. Funds raised will go to the Cardiac Center at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, where treatment is provided for a variety of cardiac conditions.
More than 3,000 people converged at Miramar Regional Park on Sunday morning. This year, more than 800 cyclists participated in the 100K and 50K events. In addition, the 5K run attracted 500 runners and more than 700 participated in the Family Walk or Power of Play Kids’ Zone. The entertainment from local talents was top notch. Everyone was moving to the beat!
This would not have been possible without the Tour de Broward Committee, Memorial Healthcare System Employees, more than 200 Memorial volunteers from the Healthcare Employees Reaching Out (H.E.R.O.) program, the Panthers from Somerset Academy, Broward College Baseball Team and Team Mariana. Of course our generous sponsors too—every dollar, in-kind service or product was a significant contribution to the success of the event. It would not have been possible without you!
